Manager, Assistant, Purchasing

The Assistant Manager of Public Purchasing supports the Trinity River Authority of Texas (TRA) by
overseeing procurement operations that ensure transparency, accountability, and best value for
the Authority. The position assists in managing centralized purchasing functions for goods,
services, construction, and engineering consulting contracts necessary to operate TRA water,
wastewater, and infrastructure systems. The Assistant Manager helps ensure that all purchasing
actions align with the Texas Water Code, Texas Government Code, Texas Administrative Code,
and TRA procurement policies.
